About Me

I spend a lot of time at home so naturally I turn to the internet to keep me busy and entertained most of the time.  I started my journey with affiliate programs.  This has caused me to learn about making money on the internet and about marketing on the internet.  During my earlier years of research online into internet marketing I became aware of the big shots on the internet like Corey Rudl, Neil Shearing, Declan Dunn, Ken Evoy and a few others.  My standard of ebook authors went sky-high as a result.  If the product/service isn't provided by a successful online expert that I trust then it's as good as garbage to me.

Money should be spent wisely.  You invest in the wrong resources and you waste more time and money.  Invest in the right ones and you'll save time and money.  I'm no big time expert but I know who is.  Internet marketing guru, Corey Rudle is the most famous it seems.  His products are pricey but for a reason.  People pay over a thousand dollars to consult with him.  I don't have a business of my own yet, but if or when I do, you can bet I'd use his products.

I don't know as much as those oh so talked about experts (yet) like Corey Rudl but I think I just might in the future.  I know enough to help internet newbies.  If I got Corey's course I'd know a heck of a lot more but I need to save up a few dollars first, it ain't cheap.  I read someone's review on it an they went on about how much better it was than other courses, like how it didn't just say what to do but how to do it.  I'd go into more detail about it but this is supposed to be about me and not Corey Rudl's course, but you'll see a lot of mention of it on this site because it's so thorough and highly recommended by others, especially other internet gurus.

So far the only business related thing I've bought is Neil Shearing's Internet Success Blueprint-a beginners step-by-step guide to creating and selling ebooks.  He owns the ScamFreeZone site and has a couple other products.  I'm not really interested in selling my own ebook yet but who knows, a few years down the road I may have accumulated enough knowledge and experience to make one, at least a small one for internet newbies, so I'm glad I have it.  It was good reading, I learned things I had no clue about, it was a good investment.  If you're interested in the Internet Success Blueprint, click here to read my review.

I have a lot of other websites.  I'm also into health and organics. My site Organic Matters, is the first one I made.  One of my more popular sites is Whole Health.

One thing I've learned about having a good website is that you shouldn't have just all links.  You end up with a mini directory.  I figure, people might as well search an engine, why go to a site with nothing but links to other sites.  Good websites should have editorial content.  The more direct information you can give, the better!  It helps to learn from experience and/or by doing research.  I've realised it's better to learn from sites and incorporate what I've learned into my own knowledge and put it in my own words in my own way rather than list hundreds of sites on mine.  My first biz-related site was like that and it did horribly.
After everything I've learned from the internet about having a successful business, I've noticed that it's the people who know a lot who do the best.  Corey Rudl, Ken Evoy, and Neil Shearing are a few good examples.  They are experts in something.  Expertise pays.
